While our whole gym was getting ready for our annual Ball our coach Kaity Maxwell was slugging it out at New Zealand Nationals on the weekend!

Our elite athlete from our little gym is self trained, self taught and self fueled.... that is impressive in itself, she literally doesn't have a coach, we all just stand behind her and have her back when she needs us. She entered the comp floor, smashed the goals she set for herself and made us super proud 😭🥺

If I could change one thing about her, it wouldn't be anything to do with her ability because she has everything an elite athlete needs and has plus more. It would be to see what others see in her and have the belief that others have in her, she needs this for herself.

Kaitlyn, you are strong, you are able, you are unstoppable, you are insanely talented, you are our idol 💚

We are truely proud of you and how you represented our gym as a coach, athlete and nan, your mokos are proud 🥺😂 we couldn't have asked for any more of you on the weekend.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.
